Hot Blogs in the City
Oh how marvelous to be back in D.C., surrounded once again by people my own age. I had almost forgotten what a bro looks like! Yes, glorious!

Bloggiquette
I need a new, cool-cat sort of way to sign my emails, especially awkward ones to my superiors. Here are some of my ideas:
-Peace Out
-See Ya Later, Alligator (for my friends, however, I would use the better version: C U L8r AlliG8R)
-Until Next Time
-Fart Thee Well (My brother used to say that all the time and people definitely got a kick out of it. However, he was five at the time.)
-OoOoOo (like XOXOXO minus the kisses .. I will only save this for the teachers I REALLY like and/or want A's from.)
-Yours in Christ(ina)
Or maybe I should just stop writing emails and go back to using carrier pigeons.

I think the most dangerous sorts of intersections would definitely be the kind where goats are driving.
They are so bad at following traffic laws.

Ghosts of Bloggers Past
Silicon is used in computers because it, in layman's terms, has "memory." It can remember codes and programs and computery stuff. Well, apparently, the element silicon is found in rocks and dirt and such pretty much anywhere.
I recently heard a theory that the silicon in stones and soil record events and people like the silicon in a computer records information. And then the silicon replays its memories, and we, as dumb, easily-impressed humans, mistake the images for hauntings. That's why big, cold houses with stone walls are so scary, apparently. Because the stones are trying to show us too much at once. We jut can't seem to handle it gracefully.
When someone dies and people are strapped for something appropriate to say, sometimes they turn to the good ol' "they will always be alive in your memory" line, and now I keep wondering if our memories are actually weak in comparison to the earth's. Humans kind of suck, but I like the thought of leaving an imprint. Like Mufasa.
As for ghosts, I don't think they're just in the walls. They're sitting at the local children's park and laughing between the lines of old journals. But those places aren't haunted. Only YOU can be haunted .. if you let yourself.
I guess I just really hope that the afterlife still has a chance of being a big dance party with Henry VIII and, like, Jesus and stuff. Because I already RSVP'd.

The Bloggings of the Wind
I find it much easier to fake cry when I have tears of laughter in my eyes.
That sounded a lot more emotional than I anticipated.

Which is worse?
Having your mom see you drunk or seeing your mom drunk .. while you are drunk?
Winter Break makes life complicated.

Which is better: a spoon of peanut butter or being spooned?
Well, this is America .. I think it's about time we can have both.
